i dont have those 'default' textures..you sure you didnt download them?

Yeah I'm sure.

Go to Edit>;Preset Manager and then select patterns for preset type. You'll then want to load the "texture fills".

to find the rest of your patterns - simply press the little circular arrow next to the pattern window, there you'll see more pattern tables that are available to you - that also works for gradients......:D
